Open promotes mindfulness through a combination of classes hosted in their physical spaces and their app-based offering. The Open flagship studio in Venice, CA is a purpose-built space for immersive mindfulness and body movement practice. LSTN collaborated with Leong Leong to develop an acoustic concept for the studio to exploit the natural acoustics of the space while providing clarity for amplified sound. The lower walls are sound reflecting allowing acoustic instruments to develop reverberance in the space. The high walls and ceiling are sound absorbing to promote audio fidelity from the loudspeakers.
