The NVRC hosts organizations that nurture academic research and actionable programming and provide a forum to facilitate collaborative thought leadership – all for the purpose of advancing the social, economic, and wellness concerns of the nation’s veterans and their families.
The facilities include classrooms, collaborative and event space, and, notably, an 800-seat auditorium intended to host internal and community performances and presentations.
LSTN designed the acoustics of the space to facilitate a highly flexible events programming schedule. The venue hosts anything from lectures to campus-wide presentation, and community performance using an acoustic enhancement system. Acoustic room shaping and finishes were integrated into the overall architectural intent of the space, creating a rich and intimate experience for audience.
