The repositioning and modernization of the banquet hall at this Upper East Side Greek Orthodox church was reconceived to be an outward-facing facility to both better host the Church’s internal events while also further engaging the surrounding community as a rentable event and presentation space.
LSTN provided acoustics and audiovisual consulting in both the banquet hall and the new entry sequence from the 74th street lobby. We worked with the architects to provide inventive wall shaping to scatter sounds and custom sound absorptive treatments to bring visual interest to fabric wrapped panels. The audiovisual design provides a flexible system that can be used in multiple orientations to allow for corporate events, weddings, galas, and more.
