The New Museum partnered with the Onassis Foundation to develop ONX Studio, a space for artists, filmmakers, and designers to work with mixed realty media. This studio is an accelerator, subsidized workspace, and event gallery.
LSTN worked with Leong Leong to design a space that could seamlessly transition from a functional technology workspace to a gallery space able to host guests to experience the residents’ work in a controlled environment.
LSTN’s acoustic design focused on creating spaces optimized for the presentation of mixed reality. Our audiovisual design focused on designing-in the infrastructure to support a wide range over overlay technology—motion capture, depth sensors, cameras, and beyond.
